Q. What is the difference between Nano Sink and Piano Sink?

A.  The Piano Sink features a single smart panel that integrates all its operations seamlessly. Piano-style buttons act as intuitive controls for advanced features like quick draining, a pull-out faucet, a cup washer, and two waterfalls. It even includes a digital display for real-time water temperature. In contrast, the Nano Sink offers a more minimalist approach, with manual controls and no integrated buttons or digital displays.

Q. What are the available color options?
A. The Nano Sink is only available in matte black finish. 

Q. Are there any other sizes available apart from 30x18?
A. Currently, the Piano Sink is only available in the 30 x 18 x 9-inch size.

Q.  Do I need to install a pressure pump? If yes, which one?

A. Yes, installing a pressure pump for your overhead tank is recommended to ensure adequate water pressure for the waterfall outlets and pull-out faucet. A pump with a standard pressure range of 40–60 PSI is ideal to maintain smooth and efficient flow through the sink’s water outlets.

Q.  What are the countertop cutout dimensions needed for installing the Nano Sink?

A. The recommended cutout dimensions for the Nano Sink are approximately 29.5 x 17.5 inches. However, we strongly suggest consulting a professional, such as your mason (mistry), to ensure precise measurements and an accurate cut for installation. 

Q. Does the sink need to be connected to a geyser for hot water?

A. Yes, the pull-out faucet and waterfall feature are designed to mix hot and cold water. To enjoy hot water, the sink's inlet pipe must be connected to a geyser. 

Q.   How are they different from traditional sinks?

A.   Traditional sinks are usually hydraulically pressed and mass-produced, whereas handmade sinks are custom-made. Each one is manually put through machinery to fold the sides, create the edges, and carve out holes.

Q.   How are handmade sinks more spacious than pressed sinks?

A.   Handmade sinks have straighter sides and sharper corners, maximizing interior space.

Q.   Do these sinks have rounded corners

A.   Yes, handmade sinks usually have tighter, sharper, slightly rounded corners to provide more usable space within the sink. These corners also prevent grime from depositing and make it easier to maintain the sink's hygiene.

Q.   How do I remove the coloured protective lamination from the sink?

A.   Ruhe Kitchen Sinks come with a thin coloured protective film that protects the sink from any damage during the installation process. Once the sink is installed, you can manually peel it off.

Q.   What are PVD Coated Handmade Sinks?

A.   PVD-coated handmade sinks have a thin, durable coating applied to the surface, enhancing resistance, against scratches and oxidation.

Q.   Is it possible to have a tap hole on the handmade sink?

A.   Yes. Ruhe offers handmade single-bowl kitchen sinks with tap holes (30-32mm diameter).

Q.   Is there a mark of 304-grade Stainless Steel on the sink?

A.   Yes. All Ruhe Kitchen Sinks with 304-grade Stainless Steel will have the same branding.
