Flushing Cisterns
Ruhe Flush Tanks and Cisterns
A flush tank, or cistern, stores the water that flushes a toilet. Ruhe makes two kinds. A PVC flush tank is fixed on the wall above the toilet, so you can see it. A concealed cistern is built inside the wall behind a wall-hung commode, so you see only the flush button.
Quick Guide
| If you have… | Choose |
|---|---|
| An Indian toilet, or a western commode with no tank | A PVC flush tank: Atlantic or Pacific |
| A wall-hung commode, new bathroom or full renovation | A concealed cistern with frame |
| A wall-hung commode and your own wall support already built | Pneumatic concealed cistern, tank only |
PVC Flush Tanks
Atlantic and Pacific are 8-litre PVC tanks in white, with a push button and an air-freshener holder. Both come in single flush and dual flush. Dual flush gives a small flush for liquids and a full flush for solids, which saves water.
| Model | Single flush | Dual flush |
|---|---|---|
| Atlantic (8 L) | ₹1,389 | ₹1,715 |
| Pacific (8 L) | ₹1,679 | ₹2,003 |
They fit Indian toilets and floor-mounted or wall-mounted western commodes. An L-bend drain pipe is included.
