Our warranty is simple: up to 25 years on 304-grade steel sinks, 10 years on brass tap bodies and ceramics, free spare parts for the whole warranty, and a year of free home service in serviceable cities. This page tells you how long each product is covered, what's included, and how to get help. The warranty is the same wherever you buy from us or an authorised seller.

At a glance

Warranty by product

These periods are for home use and start on your invoice date. They cover manufacturing defects. Where a product has parts with different periods, each part is listed. Your product page shows one line, such as "10-year warranty" or "Up to 10-year warranty"; "up to" means some parts or finishes have a shorter period, listed here.

Products listed as "Stainless Steel" (without "304-Grade") are stainless steel other than 304 grade. Your warranty follows the steel grade shown on your invoice. If no grade is shown, we'll confirm it for you.

Kitchen sinks

The 25-year cover is for leaks through the steel bowl or its welds. Drains, couplings, waste pipes, sealant and countertop fitting aren't part of it.

Extension nipples, washing machine adapters and inlets, pipe fittings (elbows, tees, sockets, hex nipples), brass nozzles, lock nuts, wall-mixer legs, flanges, L-bends, crutch and chand tara sets, permix, rag bolts, basin and urinal brackets, urinal spreaders, double-bowl connectors, sink-box and other waste pipes, cleaners, thread seal tape, sound pads, water filters and filter cartridges, and spare parts bought separately (including spare tap cartridges, aerators and aerator washers), unless they're listed above. Rubber seals, washers and gaskets in a box, and other loose accessories in the box not named on this page, aren't covered either.

How your warranty works

Where to buy. The warranty covers Ruhe products bought from ruheindia.com, Ruhe stores, retailers listed on our Store Finder, and Ruhe's official stores on Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto and other marketplaces. Products from other sellers aren't covered. Not sure about a seller? Check with us before you buy.

Your invoice. Keep your invoice. It must name the product, and we need it for every claim and every service visit. Lost it? Ask us or your seller for a copy — a re-issued invoice works. We may check an invoice with the seller; one we can't verify isn't accepted. Website order history doesn't count as an invoice. Register your warranty within 30 days of your invoice – it's mandatory. Products not registered within 30 days aren't covered.

When it starts. Your warranty starts on your invoice date, for every product and every channel.

Who's covered. The buyer, their family, their tenants and anyone they gift the product to, with the buyer's invoice. If you're the first owner of a builder flat, you're covered with the builder's invoice naming the Ruhe products and your possession letter. The warranty doesn't pass to a later owner of the product or the home.

Your own plumber. You can fit Ruhe products with your own plumber and keep your warranty. We can't cover damage your plumber causes.

What we do. If a part is faulty, we repair or replace it. If the whole product has to be replaced, we pick up the old one and deliver the new one free, and you arrange the fitting. If the same product fails again after a replacement, we'll replace it again or refund what you paid. Replaced parts and products come back to us. A replacement carries the rest of your original warranty.

Discontinued products. If a model or part is no longer made, we'll replace it with an equivalent model of similar features and price, without any deduction. The colour or shade may differ slightly. If a part is out of stock, it may take a little longer to reach you.

Claims near the end. If you raise a claim before your warranty ends, we'll honour it even if the visit happens after.

Commercial use. Products used in hotels, restaurants, offices, hospitals, shops, PGs, hostels, homestays and Airbnbs, service apartments, clinics, salons, gyms, schools and other public places are covered for 1 year, or less where the home warranty is shorter. Portable bidets aren't covered for commercial use. A home rented to a family or a long-term tenant counts as home use. We go by where the product is installed; the service request form asks, and our technician checks.

What isn't covered

The warranty covers manufacturing defects — faults from how the product was made that show up under correct installation and use, like a crack, a pinhole leak, a dripping cartridge, plating peeling without harsh chemicals, or a soft-close seat that stops working. It doesn't cover:

• Misuse, physical damage, tampering, or installation that wasn't done correctly
• Normal wear and tear: a finish slowly losing its shine, small scratches or marks from use, moving parts wearing over time
• Scale or mineral build-up from hard water, and dirt, sand or debris in the water supply
• Damage from acids (including acid wash), harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers
• Damage to a quartz sink from heat above 280°C or a direct flame
• Spots, discolouration or pitting from cleaning-product fumes, salty coastal air, or constant damp in a closed space such as a sink cabinet without ventilation
• Fading or discolouration from direct sun
• Weak flow or a feature not working because water pressure is too low or too high. Product pages show the recommended pressure; for shower panels, thermostatic diverters, smart sinks and kitchen faucets we suggest a 1.5 HP pressure pump with a 24-litre tank, giving 40 PSI (about 2.8 bar) where water enters the product. Products whose page says they work on low pressure don't need a pump
• Water freezing inside the product, or using a product for something it isn't made for (for example, hot water through a cold-water-only tap)
• Stiff parts after 6 months or more without use (this doesn't apply to angle, stop, ball or float valves)
• Natural disasters, pests and pets, damage while shifting house, and voltage spikes or faulty wiring
• Civil work, and damage to tiles, countertops, walls or hidden pipes during installation. Please point out concealed pipes and make sure tiles are firmly fixed before any fitting
• Washers, aerators and gaskets after use, filters and batteries, and the smart sink dynamo
• Products bought or used outside India

Damaged on delivery?

If we delivered it — a ruheindia.com order, or a store or dealer sale we shipped straight to your home or site — tell us within 48 hours of delivery, before you fit it, and we'll replace it free. This covers every Ruhe product, including items with no warranty. Record one continuous, unedited video from the sealed box and label through to opening. Website orders can choose a refund instead. Washers, aerators or gaskets found faulty while fitting within the 48 hours are replaced too.

If you collected it at a Ruhe store or dealer counter, please check it at the counter. We can't cover breakage after collection, but manufacturing faults are covered by the warranty.

Dealers and builders buying from us: report damage within 48 hours of our delivery to you, with photos and a remark on the delivery receipt, through the service request form.

Marketplace orders (Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto and others) follow the marketplace's own return policy.

Once a product is fitted, the warranty applies instead of a return.

How to make a claim

1. Fill in the service request form. You'll get a ticket number straight away.
2. Upload your invoice, a video of any leak or fault, and photos of any visible damage.
3. We'll get back to you within 48 hours and book a visit or courier the part.

We take claims only through the form, so every request gets a ticket and nothing is lost. We can't take claims on WhatsApp, phone or email.

Home service

Free for the first year. For 1 year from your invoice date, our technician visits free in serviceable cities — parts and labour included — up to 2 visits per product. We aim to visit within 4 working days.

Parts we courier. Some items don't need a visit, so we courier a free replacement part anywhere in India for the whole warranty: plumbing fittings, brass ball valves, float valves and PTMT push valves, jet sprays, RO taps bought separately, shower arms, holders, hoses and shower tubes bought separately, smart sink accessories, portable bidets and drains. If you'd rather have a technician fit it, book a paid visit; the part stays free. Items with no warranty aren't serviced.

After your free visits. A technician visit costs ₹999 per product, including GST, paid when you book. It's charged even if no repair is needed, and the work carries a 15-day warranty. Replacement parts stay free for the rest of your warranty. You can reschedule free up to 1 working day before, and cancel for a full refund before the visit. You can book a paid visit after your warranty ends too (your invoice is still needed). Parts are then charged at the website price plus shipping and carry no warranty.

Outside serviceable cities. We courier replacement parts free during the warranty and help you by phone or video call; you arrange the fitting.

Old parts. When we send a replacement part worth ₹500 or more, we collect the old one. For cheaper parts, a photo of the old part next to your ticket number is enough.

How long it takes. We aim to dispatch parts within 1 working day; they usually arrive in about 5 working days. We aim to finish repairs within 7 working days. Working days are Monday to Saturday, except public holidays.

Serviceable cities

Free home service and Home Installation are available in every city and town in these states and regions: Delhi NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and all eight North East states — and in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Vijayawada.

Caring for your products

• Clean with mild soap and a soft cloth. Avoid acids, harsh chemicals and abrasive scrubbers.
• Keep the cabinet under your sink ventilated.
• Quartz sinks handle heat up to 280°C, so hot pans and boiling water are fine. Wipe dry after use; for tough stains use a quartz sink cleaner.
• Steel drains resist rust but aren't rust-proof. Rust from poor cleaning or chemicals isn't covered.

Extended Warranty

Extended Warranty adds cover after the standard warranty on the parts listed below ends. It's for home use, and you can buy it on the product page when you order, or within 30 days of your invoice date. It covers replacement parts; technician visits are the paid ₹999 visit. If your product is replaced, the Extended Warranty moves to the new one. It's refunded only if you return the product.

Home Installation

Book Home Installation on the product page, when you order or later. It's available in serviceable cities for Ruhe products, wherever you bought them. Prices are per product and include GST.

What's included. Fitting the product, drilling the fixing holes, and removing your old tap, shower, health faucet, jet spray, valve, spout or seat cover. If our technician breaks the product while fitting it, we replace it and fit the new one free. If we installed it, we'll never turn down a claim as "wrong installation" — unless someone else has moved or worked on it since.

What isn't included. Civil work (chasing, plastering, tiling), cutting or enlarging a countertop, RO purifier setup and RO tap connection (except Trim and Wind – their ₹999 installation includes connecting the RO purifier's outlet pipe to the tap), and consumables such as sealant and pipes. We can't cover damage to tiles, countertops, walls or hidden pipes during fitting, including ours — please point out concealed pipes and make sure tiles are firmly fixed.

Not available for: RO taps, concealed stop valves, flush valves, the touchless faucet, table-top and undermount basins (including glass basins), Indian WCs, diverter bodies alone, concealed cistern tanks and frames, drains, plumbing fittings, portable bidets, hand showers sold as showerhead only and health faucets sold as gun only, kitchen accessories, and shower arms, holders, hoses and tubes bought separately, spare parts, and items with no warranty.

Booking. We aim to visit within 4 working days. Reschedule free up to 1 working day before, or cancel for a full refund before the visit. If the site isn't ready when the technician arrives, the next visit is charged again. Wall-hung WCs, concealed cisterns and shower panels get a free second visit within 30 days to finish the job. If anything goes wrong with our fitting, tell us within 15 days and we'll fix it free.

Installing a product doesn't add warranty cover. Products from sellers who aren't authorised stay outside the warranty.

Other terms

• All prices include GST.
• Our liability is limited to the price you paid, and we can't cover indirect or consequential loss. This doesn't affect your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
• Disputes fall under the courts in Delhi.
• Our team checks each claim to confirm the fault is covered. If you disagree, you can contact our Grievance Officer.
• A part is replaced free up to 2 times; after that we inspect the product before replacing it again.
• Please hand over replaced parts or products at pickup. If they aren't returned within 7 days, the part's website price is charged.
• Free visits count once for each product worked on. A revisit for the same fault within 15 days isn't counted. If the fault turns out not to be covered, the visit counts but isn't charged while you have free visits left. If you're not available at a confirmed slot after 2 calls, the visit counts (or a paid visit fee isn't refunded). If we miss a confirmed slot, the next visit is free and isn't counted.
• Buying from us online is also covered by our Shipping and Returns policies.

We'll acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours, email you a copy of it, and resolve it within one month. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the National Consumer Helpline (1915 or 1800-11-4000, WhatsApp +91 88000 01915) or file a complaint with the consumer commission where you live or work at e-jagriti.gov.in.
