How to choose a basin mixer tap
A basin mixer mixes hot and cold water. Choose a mixer if you have hot water at the basin; a pillar tap runs one water line only.
A single lever sets flow and temperature with one handle. A double handle mixer has separate hot and cold handles.
Table-mount mixers stand on the basin or counter. Wall-mount mixers come out of the wall and keep the counter clear; Ruhe sells them as a complete set.
For a table-top basin, which raises the rim about 120–150 mm above the counter, choose a tall body mixer or a wall-mount mixer, because a regular tap is too short.
