What is the inlet size?
½" BSP, with a 20 mm thread length. It fits the standard ½" BSP wall tap point.
Will it fit my existing wall tap point?
Yes, if it is a standard ½" BSP wall tap point. For a recessed wall point, your plumber can fit an extension nipple.
Can it be mounted on the countertop or sink?
No. It is a wall mount tap.
Is it a mixer?
No. It has a single inlet and connects to either a hot or a cold supply line.
Can I use it with hot water?
Yes. It is hot and cold compatible; connect it to a hot or a cold line.
Does it work on low-pressure overhead-tank supply?
Yes. It works on low-pressure overhead-tank supply and withstands high water pressure.
What is the water flow rate?
Flow depends on the water pressure in your line: lower on low-pressure overhead-tank (gravity) supply, higher on pressurised or pump-fed lines. The aerator gives a soft, uniform stream.
Is it suitable for drinking water?
Yes, it is suitable for drinking water supply. The body is low-lead solid brass and the spout is 304-grade stainless steel.
Does the spout rotate?
Yes, the spout swivels 360°.
Which way does the lever open?
Turn it anti-clockwise a quarter turn (90°) to open and clockwise to close.
What is the handle like?
A single zinc lever, chrome plated. A quarter turn (90°) opens and closes the tap.
What is it made of?
Low-lead solid brass body, 304-grade stainless steel spout, brass spout nut, zinc handle and stainless steel wall flange, with multi-layer chrome plating.
What finish is it?
Chrome, polished mirror finish, with multi-layer chrome plating, salt spray tested. Every visible part is chrome plated, including the spout, handle and wall flange.
Will it rust or will the chrome peel?
The body and spout are rust-resistant and corrosion-resistant, and the multi-layer chrome plating is salt spray tested. Clean with mild soap and water and a soft cloth, then wipe dry. Avoid acids, bleach and abrasive cleaners.
Will it drip?
The quarter-turn ceramic disc cartridge is tested to 5,00,000 cycles, drip-free.
How do I deal with hard water or limescale?
Remove the aerator by hand or with a tool, clean it and refit it. After cleaning, wipe the tap dry.
Can I buy a replacement cartridge or aerator?
Yes. Replacement cartridges and aerators will be available from the Spare Parts section once it goes live. The cartridge is a ceramic disc cartridge with an 18.7 mm outer diameter; the aerator has an M22 thread.
