• Should I buy a single bowl or double bowl kitchen sink? Choose a double bowl if you soak in one side and rinse in the other, or if two people use the sink at once, common in Indian joint families. Choose a single bowl if you regularly wash large tawas, cookers and baking trays that will not sit flat in a divided bowl.
• What are the bowl dimensions on this 37-inch double bowl sink? The body is 932 x 442 x 225 mm overall, with two equal bowls of 428 x 392 mm each. Equal bowls, rather than one large and one small, mean you can wash a full load of utensils in either side without one bowl becoming a token space.
• Will a 37-inch sink fit a standard Indian kitchen counter? The 932 mm body needs a base cabinet wider than that, with cutout clearance on either side, and enough counter depth for the 442 mm body. It suits a mid-to-large modular kitchen. If your cabinet run is tight, the 24-inch single bowl is the safer choice.
• Is SS 304 worth the extra cost over SS 202 for a double bowl sink? For a double bowl in daily use, yes. The 304 version uses 1.2mm steel with 8% nickel, giving real corrosion resistance and less flex under a full load of wet vessels. The 202 version is thinner and cheaper. In hard-water regions, the 304 is the one that ages well.
• How do I stop water pooling in a stainless steel sink? This sink uses X-grooves on the base channels that direct water toward the drain instead of letting it sit in the middle. Combined with the 225 mm depth and a correctly sloped waste pipe, standing water is minimal. Clear the grooves and coupling periodically so debris does not block flow.
• Can this sink be undermounted under a granite counter? Yes, it supports top-mount and undermount installation. Undermount under granite gives a clean, uninterrupted counter edge. Because a 37-inch double bowl full of water is heavy, ensure your fabricator fits adequate support brackets underneath rather than relying on adhesive alone.
• What is included with the handmade double bowl sink? The box contains the double bowl sink, two stainless steel couplings, a 30-inch PVC waste pipe, one adjustable vegetable basket and a double bowl connector that joins both drains into a single outlet. The faucet is bought separately. Paid installation can be added at checkout.
• How do I remove hard water stains from a stainless steel sink? Wipe the bowl dry after each use; that prevents most scaling. For existing white marks, use mild detergent on a soft sponge and rinse thoroughly. Do not use bleach, acid-based descalers or abrasive pads; they dull the brushed matte finish and can pit the surface over time.
