What Is a Flush Tank (Cistern)?
A flush tank (cistern) holds the water that flushes your toilet. Ruhe sells two kinds.
Exposed PVC flush tanks hang on the wall above the toilet. Atlantic and Pacific hold 8 litres, come in single or dual flush, and suit an Indian toilet.
Concealed cisterns sit inside the wall, with only the flush button plate showing, and are used with a wall-hung commode. They come as mechanical or pneumatic (the difference is how the flush button works), as tank only, with a half frame or with a full frame.
Dual flush gives a small flush for liquids and a full flush for solids.
