What is a wall-hung western commode?

A commode that is fixed to the wall instead of standing on the floor. The cistern is hidden inside the wall and only the flush plate shows, so the floor below stays clear and easy to mop.

Which flush tank does Rossa use?

A concealed cistern fitted inside the wall, not a tank on the commode. Rossa works with a Ruhe pneumatic or mechanical concealed cistern, tank only or with a half or full frame.

Which concealed cistern should I buy with Rossa?

Any Ruhe concealed cistern works with Rossa: pneumatic or mechanical, tank only or with a half or full frame. Not sure which suits your wall? Talk to a Ruhe expert on video call (Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6:30 PM, closed on public holidays) and we will help you choose.

Will Rossa fit my bathroom?

Rossa drains into the wall (a wall outlet, also called P-trap), and its concealed cistern and waste pipe sit inside the wall. These are fitted before tiling, so Rossa suits a new bathroom or a renovation. If your bathroom has a drain pipe in the floor (S-Trap), see our One-Piece Commodes.

Can I fit Rossa in my existing bathroom?

Only if the wall is opened to fit the concealed cistern and the waste pipe inside it. That is usually done during a renovation, before tiling.

What is the size of Rossa?

520 mm long, 370 mm wide and 340 mm high (±5 mm).

What is the seat height of Rossa?

It depends on how high the commode is mounted on the wall. Your plumber sets the height during installation.

How much water does Rossa use per flush?

Rossa is flushed by the concealed cistern, so the flush volume depends on the cistern you fit. Ruhe concealed cisterns are dual flush: a small flush for liquids and a full flush for solids.

Yes. The bowl has no rim, so there is no hidden edge where dirt can collect, and a quick wipe keeps it clean.

How does a washdown flush work?

The water from the cistern rushes into the bowl and pushes waste out with its force, through a wide trapway. A wide trapway is hard to clog.

What are the inlet and outlet sizes?

The water inlet at the back is 55 mm and the outlet is 100 mm. The inlet and the outlet are 135 mm apart.

How is Rossa fixed to the wall?

With two rag bolts 180 mm apart. Two rag bolts (16 mm × 6 Inches) come in the box.

Which seat cover comes with Rossa?

A slim PP seat cover with a soft-close lid and seat ring, rubber bumpers and quick-release hinges.

Does the seat close softly?

Yes. Both the lid and the seat ring close slowly and quietly, and the seat ring has rubber bumpers underneath.

Rossa wall-hung commode; Soft-close slim PP seat cover with quick-release hinges — packed separately; Gasket; Rag bolts (16 mm × 6 Inches) — 2 pcs, added by Ruhe.

Is the seat cover fitted when it arrives?

No. The seat cover comes packed separately in the box and is fitted after the commode is fixed in place.

Can I install it myself?

No. Installation needs a plumber: the commode has to be fixed to the wall and connected to the concealed cistern and the waste pipe. Choose Home Installation ₹2,999, available in serviceable cities (T&C), and our technician fits it.

Does Ruhe fit the concealed cistern?

Your plumber fits the concealed cistern tank and frame inside the wall before tiling. After tiling, Ruhe can fit the cistern's upper parts: Home Installation ₹999, chosen on the cistern's page.

What if it arrives damaged?

Record one continuous, unedited unboxing video from the sealed box, and report any damage, a fault or a wrong product within 48 hours of delivery, before fitting. Fully unpack only when you are ready to install, and keep the carton until installation is done.

Is onsite repair available in my city?

Free onsite repair is available in serviceable cities. See the full list on our Warranty T&C page.

Yes. 30-Day Easy Returns on unused products. Report damage, a fault or a wrong product within 48 hours of delivery, before fitting.

23.2 kg without packing (±5%).

Description & Features

Wall-hung western commode – the floor below stays clear

Rossa is fixed to the wall instead of standing on the floor. The cistern sits hidden inside the wall and only its flush plate shows, so the bathroom looks clean and uncluttered, and you can mop right under the commode.

Rimless washdown flush through a wide 100 mm trapway

The bowl has no rim, so there is no hidden edge where dirt can collect. The washdown flush pushes waste out with the force of the water through a wide 100 mm trapway, which is hard to clog. The flush comes from the concealed cistern: Ruhe concealed cisterns are dual flush, with a small flush for liquids and a full flush for solids.

Works with Ruhe concealed cisterns

Rossa works with every Ruhe concealed cistern: pneumatic or mechanical, tank only or with a half or full frame (Pneumatic Concealed Cistern (Tank Only)). The cistern and the waste pipe are fitted inside the wall before tiling, so Rossa suits a new bathroom or a renovation. Rossa drains into the wall (a wall outlet, also called P-trap); if your bathroom has a drain pipe in the floor, see our One-Piece Commodes.

Soft-close slim seat that lifts off at the press of a button

The slim PP seat cover has soft-close hinges for both the lid and the seat ring, so each lowers slowly and quietly, and the seat ring has rubber bumpers underneath. Press the single button in the middle of the hinge bar and the whole seat lifts off, so you can clean around the hinges. The hinge studs and caps are 304-Grade stainless steel, and the caps are mirror-polished.

Hygienic, antibacterial glaze – built to bear 400 kg

The glossy white ceramic body has a hygienic, antibacterial glaze that resists stains, heat, abrasions and scratches. Rossa is built to bear 400 kg.

Size and fixing
