Buying guide: kitchen sinks with tap hole
A tap hole in the back deck lets you fit a table-mount tap on the sink itself, so you don't drill your counter. Any table-mount tap fits: swan neck taps, table-mount sink mixers and pull-out faucets. Check the tap's thread size against the hole size on the sink page.
Handmade tap-hole sinks can be top-mount or undermount. For undermount, the counter must be drilled in line with the tap hole.
