Can I install this trap to the stainless steel basin?

Yes, you can. However, it is advised that bottle traps be used only with washbasins and not kitchen sinks. This is because kitchen sinks tend to have food residues and other kinds of waste flowing down the drain which might accumulate in the bottle trap and affect its performance.

What if the bottle trap pipe is broken, do I need to buy a complete set?

No. If the pipes are broken or damaged, you can easily get new pipes from Ruhe.

Is it suitable for hot water also?

Yes. Bottle traps are compatible with both hot and cold water.
